22: Recipe Presets | grandMA3 for grandMA2 Programmers

grandMA3 Recipes are new to us, and they’re also brand new to the OS. This is their first implementation- so there’s a lot to learn about how to create them, where to store them, when to cook them and how to use them in cues. I’ll also show you how to create a recipe “template” preset.

We’re covering:
๐Ÿ• What the heck is a recipe, and what do they do?
๐Ÿ• If there’s no recipe “pool”, where do we store recipes?
๐Ÿ• Recipe in an existing preset vs an empty preset
๐Ÿ• Creating a recipe in a preset using EDITOPTION
๐Ÿ• When does the console auto-cook, and when do we need to cook?
๐Ÿ• Adding MAtricks to a recipe manually or from within the pool
๐Ÿ• How to create a “template” recipe preset
๐Ÿ• How to use these Recipe Presets in cues so that you don’t end up with hard values
