23: Cue and Programmer Recipes | grandMA3 for grandMA2 Programmers

This time, it’s #grandma3 Recipes in the Programmer and in Cues. There are some benefits to putting your recipes directly in the cues instead of a preset- especially if you think you’ll be changing the groups of fixtures used in your recipes. I’ll show you what happens when you make changes and when/how you need to cook.

We’re covering:
๐Ÿ• Recipe Lines in the Programmer Parts window
๐Ÿ• Various ways to edit a recipe stored in a cue
๐Ÿ• How to see and work with recipes within the Sequence Sheet
๐Ÿ• What happens to attributes in your sequence when you change the recipe
๐Ÿ• When to cook, and when do you not need to cook.
๐Ÿ• Cooking: When to Merge vs Overwrite
๐Ÿ• How to change/update groups in a recipe (no hard values like recipe presets!)
๐Ÿ• My personal preference for how to change what fixtures are used in cue recipes
