This time, it’s #grandma3 Recipes in the Programmer and in Cues. There are some benefits to putting your recipes directly in the cues instead of a preset- especially if you think you’ll be changing the groups of fixtures used in your recipes. I’ll show you what happens when you make changes and when/how you need to cook.
We’re covering:
🍕 Recipe Lines in the Programmer Parts window
🍕 Various ways to edit a recipe stored in a cue
🍕 How to see and work with recipes within the Sequence Sheet
🍕 What happens to attributes in your sequence when you change the recipe
🍕 When to cook, and when do you not need to cook.
🍕 Cooking: When to Merge vs Overwrite
🍕 How to change/update groups in a recipe (no hard values like recipe presets!)
🍕 My personal preference for how to change what fixtures are used in cue recipes
